Talukan

Suspected Taliban Supporters are held by the US Army during operations to clear the countryside around the village of Talukan of IEDs and Taliban fighters. The unit Delta Company 1-187 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne is in charge of bringing security to the village of Talukan, clearing it of IEDs and preventing the Taliban from returning. The village is located in the Horn of Panjwai, Kandahar Province, Southern Afghanistan.
