Talukan

American Soldiers take a break during operations to secure and clear the surrounding countryside around the village of Talukan. It was cleared of IEDs and suspected Taliban. The unit Delta Company 1-187 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne is in charge of bringing security to the village of Talukan, clearing it of IEDs and preventing the Taliban from returning. The village is located in the Horn of Panjwai, Kandahar Province, Southern Afghanistan.
