Murder #103, Carmel Charles, Catford.......Carmel Charles, 20, was stabbed to death in Catford on November 19, 2011. Police and paramedics were called to an address in Ravensbourne Park following reports of an assault. Her partner Richard Henry, 21, was arrested at the scene. He was later charged with murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter due to diminished responsibility. Henry was a diagnosed schizophrenic and had stopped taking his medication at the time of the killing.
