Murder #179, Pelivan Zekaj, Wood Green.....Pelivan Zekaj, 23, was stabbed to death at Wood Green shopping centre on October 4, 2012. Zekaj was attacked during a gang fight and pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was given as a stab wound to the heart. Police charged a 19 year old man with murder. The accused later told police he acted in self defence. The jury took just 30 minutes to acquit the accused of murder and affray.
