Murder #93, Gaynor Brockwell, Croydon.......Gaynor Brockwell, 46, was strangled at her home in Croydon on October 8, 2011. Police and paramedics were called to Courtwood Lane but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband Gary Brockwell, 48, said he strangled his wife of 26 years when she told him she was leaving him for another man. Brockwell was charged with murder the next day. Brockwell was convicted of murder and jailed for life with a minimum of 12 years before parole.
