Murder #90, Charito Cruz, Kingston.......Charito Cruz, 37, was found dead at her home in Kingston on September 26, 2011. Cruz had suffered head injuries after being hit over the head with a hammer more than 50 times. Police were called and arrested her partner, Asad Niazi, 29, on suspicion of murder. Niazi admitted killing Cruz but denied murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility claiming he was suffering from severe depression. He was convicted of murder and was jailed for life.
