The Landscape of Murder

Murder #167, Kestutis Mickevicius, Beckton......Kestutis Mickevicius, 44, was found dead in Beckton on August 18, 2012. His decomposed body was discovered on wasteland by a member of the public. A postmortem revealed he had suffered blunt trauma to the head. Police charged a 39 year old man with murder. Mobile phone records were said to show that the accused was at the scene at the time of the murder. The jury acquitted the accused of both murder and manslaughter.
