Murder #114, Aaron McKoy, Clerkenwell........Aaron McKoy, 22, was shot dead as he celebrated his birthday on New Years Day 2012. He was attacked after a mass brawl broke out outside a wine bar in Clerkenwell. Police then received reports of a shooting in Portpool Lane. McKoy was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest. Six men were charged with murder but only one, Dean Smith, 25, was found guilty. Smith was sentenced to life in prison.
