Murder #102, Desbert Welsh, Brondesbury Park......Desbert Welsh, 50, was fatally stabbed by his 84 year-old uncle on November 12, 2011. He was found bleeding at a flat in Knightleas Court, Brondesbury Park. Mr Welsh died two days later in hospital. Ezekiel McCarthy was charged with murder. McCarthy pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. Psychiatrists concluded McCarthy was suffering from dementia. McCarthy was sentenced to nine months imprisonment suspended for two years.
