Denise Rose Hansen of Lolli Books, photographed at the Guardian Photo Studios. Denise Rose Hansen is a Danish writer, editor, and literary translator. She has translated Ann Quin, Tom McCarthy, Jon Bang Carlsen, Johanne Bille, amongst others. She holds a PhD in English from UCL, and her research focuses on 1960s British literature, in particular the work of Ann Quin, Paddy Kitchen, Denis Williams, and Stefan Themerson, and these writers’ overlaps with the art world. She is currently working on a novella titled Presence. She lives in London where she is the publisher of Lolli Editions.
