

Police tape surround one end of the Wembley Arch where a football was was murdered before an international game between Wales and England. Wales supporter Michael Dye died after attacked outside Wembley stadium on the night of the Euro 2012 qualfiying match with England. The 44 year-old council worker from Cardiff was punched to the ground at around 7.20pm on Tuesday 6 September, 2011. Mr Dye suffered head injuries and died in hospital an hour and a half later. A postmortem gave the cause of death as blunt trauma to the back of the head.
