

Family and friends mourn at the spot where Harjinder Singh Bhurji was killed. Harjinder Singh Bhurji, 32, was stabbed to death when his car was hijacked by a masked robber in Clayhall, east London.
He had been sitting chatting with a female friend in his black Mercedes CLK coupe in Stoneleigh Road at around 1am on Tuesday, 13 September. The attacker first dragged out the woman from the passenger seat and then went round to the driver's side and demanded the keys. Mr Bhurji, from Ilford, was stabbed in the chest after he tried to hide them under his seat. Police were called at 1.10am and found Mr Bhurji fatally wounded and the woman uninjured but suffering from shock. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.42am.
