Milad Golmakani, 22, was stabbed to death on a basketball court on an estate in Kilburn, northwest London, on April 20, 2011.
He was found injured in Mortimer Crescent after police were called at 4.50pm and died in hospital at 6.07pm.
A postmortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest and neck.
